Off-shift access to a production 5-axis machining centre for prototype and small-batch precision parts in aluminium and steel. The machine runs the plant's own pump and automotive work by day; nights and Sundays are opened to startups through the CII programme. Every external job is reviewed by the plant programmer before it runs: fixturing, tooling and cycle time are agreed in advance, so you pay for cutting time, not experimentation. The plant operator runs the machine; you are welcome on the floor to inspect first-offs. Typical jobs are impeller and housing prototypes, mould inserts, and 5 to 50 piece batches that are too precise for job shops but too small for production quotes.
